Cookie Policy

01 · The short version

We use no advertising cookies and we do not track you on other websites. Cookies that keep you signed in and remember your settings are always on, because the app cannot work without them. The one analytics cookie is optional: nothing is stored for analytics until you choose Accept in the banner. If you choose Reject, we still count page views, but without any cookie or stored identifier.

02 · Essential (always on)

Clerk sign-in cookies (__session, __client_uat, and __client on Clerk’s own domain). Keep you signed in and protect your account. Set by Clerk, our sign-in provider. Lasts: Until you sign out, or up to the session lifetime set in Clerk.

__ph_opt_in_out_… (cookie or local storage). Remembers whether you accepted or rejected the analytics cookie, so we do not ask again. Lasts: Up to 1 year.

03 · Preferences (always on, stored in your browser only)

These live in your browser's local storage and are never sent to us.

nwt-theme, networth_settings. Your theme and display settings, so the app looks the way you left it. Lasts: Until you clear site data.

nwt-tool-currency, nwt-analytics-tab, nwt-analytics-period. The currency you picked in a calculator and the last Analytics view you opened. Lasts: Until you clear site data.

nwt-install-dismissed, nwt-milestone-dismissed. Remember that you closed the install prompt or a milestone card. Lasts: Until you clear site data.

04 · Analytics (only if you accept)

ph_…_posthog (cookie and local storage). A random identifier from PostHog, our product analytics tool (hosted in the EU). It lets us count unique visitors and see which features are used. Once you sign in it is linked to your account ID, never to your name, email or balances. Session replay, if we turn it on, only runs with this cookie and masks all on-screen text and typed input. Lasts: Up to 1 year.

05 · No cookies

Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast pages load. It sets no cookie and does not identify you. The calculators run entirely in your browser and store only the currency you picked.

06 · Your choices

Use the button above to change your answer at any time. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; the banner will then ask again. More on how we handle your data is in the Privacy Policy. Questions: privacy@networthtrackr.com.
